Baseball Money Line
Money line is an option to wager on. With Money lines, the Favorite and the
Underdog is factored by the amount the p[layer is laying vs. the return. If
you would take the Yankees you would be LAYING $210
for every $100 you want to WIN. If you take the
Redsox you would LAY $100 for every $190 you want to
WIN. With this type of wager, the player will always
risk more to win less on the favorite and risk less to win more on the
underdog. The outcome of the wager is determined by the team that wins
outright.
Totals
Players may also wager on the total amount of points scored by both teams to
go over or under (in this case 9). In Baseball, this also has a money line
combined with the total. If you choose to wager on the Over 9 you would lay
$100 for every $190 you wish to win. If you take the Under 9 you would lay
$220 for every $100 you wish to win.
Run Lines
This is a combination of point spread and Money line. The chosen pick must
cover the spread by the stipulated point spread which in return also has a
money line which will determine the amount the player is laying vs. the
return. If the player wagers on the Yankees, they need to win outright or lose
by less than 1.5 runs and the player will need to lay $100 for every $160 he
wishes to win. Whereas, if you wish to wager on the Redsox they must win by
1.5 points and lay $180 for every $190 he wants to win.
